World has seen Elon Musk start his own web software company Zip2 in 1995, to be a major part of the .com boom in the 1990’s and selling his first company Zip2 in 1999 for $340 million. Next came the company PayPal, an online payment website that made him really famous. He sold it to eBay in 2002 for $1.5 Billion.
The genius has had a meteoric entrepreneurial career where he has created the most unique and interesting companies in the world. The investor never thinks small and below is the line of companies, all sister sites, he now owns to prove his uniqueness and visionary character.
SpaceX
While the world thinks what it would be like to go in space or live on Mars now, Elon Musk in 2002 had already founded SpaceX, a private company that designs, manufactures and launches rockets into space. It is the 1st commercial company that did put a satellite into Earth Orbit using its own Falcon 1 rocket in September 2008. The aim of the company is to make the dream of humans to live on other planets a reality.
It was impossible for anyone to even think of reusing rockets for space travels. But Elon Musk believed it could be done and in December 2015, his company SpaceX created history by managing to land their Falcon rocket back onto the launch pad. Currently the SpaceX scientists and researchers are working on the spacecraft, Starship. Starship will be able to launch all the Earth-orbit, Lunar-orbit or interplanetary missions and has a vision to carry humans into space.

Technology for electric cars has been revolutionized by Tesla Inc. The company was created in July 2003, and Elon Musk joined the company as its chairman 2004. In 2008, the visionary businessman became the CEO and product architect of Tesla. By 2019 Musk held the record as the longest-tenured CEO of any automotive manufacturer in the world.
OpenAI
While some may consider it too much imagination on the human’s part, many still believe that in future artificial intelligence will become sophisticated enough to control human beings. It may be one of the reasons leading to human’s extinction. Elon Musk has put a thought on it, ahead of his times and created OpenAI in December 2015. The company creates Safe and useful AI for humans so that mo doomsday scenario occurs in the coming future.
Neuralink
In 2016, Elon Musk was inspired by the sci-fi concept of neural lace which is a brain computer interface implanted into the brains of people allowing mind-reading among many other things. It’s a company with 90 employees working on a device to implant extremely thin electrode threads into the brain so that it can read thoughts directly from there.
