On A Scale Of One To Ten, How High Are You?

Many people that have consumed cannabis, have used a rating scale to tell other people how high they are. 1 is a mild high, whereas 10 is extremely high.

Have you ever felt like you have consumed a little more weed than you are comfortable with? It’s happened to a lot of people, and it doesn’t typically feel the best. We safely assume that almost everybody who has consumed weed knows what this entails.

However, have you ever thought about how high on a scale of 1 to 10 your experience will rank? Not in terms of pure pleasure, but more so in terms of how stoned you were. We have compiled a scale of 1 to 10 which describes how the effects feel on each and every level. Whether you were inhaling or eating edibles, it doesn’t matter, we can assist you in ranking it properly.

Level 1 – Mild Perception And Head Alteration

How high are you? Everyone who has ever consumed cannabis before has been to level 1. It typically happens only after you have taken one or two minor tokes. You will start to feel more relaxed, but also have a little more energy than usual. There is usually nothing that you should be worrying about at level 1 because there are 9 more levels to how high you can get.

Level 2 – Kinda High

Level 2 isn’t completely different in comparison to level 1. The feeling might just be exacerbated a tiny bit, but this is the stage that you will feel compelled to get a little higher.

Level 3 – You Begin To Feel Lifted

You are now considered high when you reach level 3. You experience feelings of elevation throughout your mind and body and you typically might start feeling mild nuances of euphoria.

Level 4 – Yes, You Are High

Usually, when people consume cannabis, they ask themselves how high they are at any given point in time. If you are regularly high, you still have the ability to go about your daily tasks and are able to get work done. This is typically what happens at the 4th stage. It is a pretty good feeling and everything that you set your mind to just feels a little lighter and more enjoyable.

Level 5 – Really, Really High

When you hit stage 5, the majority of people that you have to interact with will know that you are high. You have a body buzz going on and you typically have a fairly dry mouth at the same time. You will have cravings to find sweets and keep finding yourself having to drink water. Your thoughts are all over the place and you find it hard to focus on any given thing. Reaching level 5 is a fun and entertaining experience, especially if you and your friends make it to this stage all at the same time.

Level 6 – Stoned

Making it to level 6 gets to the point where it isn’t even really fun anymore. If you’ve never hit level 6 before, then it can make for a pretty uncomfortable experience. You might feel your eyes closing every couple of seconds, and the best thing to make it through level 6 is just to sit back and relax. You’ll want to gather your thought processes back, and the best way to do that is to just wait it out.

Level 7 – Baked

Baked comes in at level 7 and it’s one level higher than stoned. Your overall perception of everything is completely scattered and all of the feelings that you have are magnified by seven times because of consuming cannabis. You will generally not be able to remember anything important, so if you have some tasks or schedules that need to be adhered to, then it is best to stay far away from reaching level 7 on the high scale.

Level 8 – Blazed

While being blazed is still not at the highest level on the rating scale, there is still potential to get far higher than even that. At level 8, you will start to go feel some psychedelic effects. Many things that you are thinking or doing don’t make any sense at all to you, and you begin to question everything that is going on. Paranoia is also a big side effect that can occur at level 8.

Level 9 – What…Is…Reality?

If you’ve made it this far, then you know it’s a level that you will want to just go somewhere peaceful and wait for the effects to wear off. You might start losing touch with reality and will feel that nothing in your life is nice, and then the next moment, you will feel on top of the world. Consuming cannabis to this point can sometimes feel more negative than positive.

Level 10 – What Did I Even just Smoked?

The 10th level of the rating scale is the highest. You generally don’t even want to ever get to this level, nor should you even be asking yourself the questions of how high you are at that particular moment. Being this high can feel like being on LSD. It most commonly occurs from eating edibles, but rarely from smoking cannabis.
